" More Easter 2011"

We had a great Easter Day.   We made a Scavenger Hunt for the teenagers.  This is how it started OUT.

They had to dig around for one of their clues.

This was one of my favorites.  We gave them all gloves and shovels.  Thet had to use the metal detectors to find the next clue.

We barried a metal box with farm animals and the clue.  I cant remember exactly what the clue said but it basically said they had to go sing " Old MacDonald " to their Great Grandma who lives down the road for their next clue .

Treg was funny .  Instead of helping he would take breaks to text.  In several of the pics there he was texting.

We  had such a fun time. The whole thing took about 2 and a half long.   I have no idea how we are going to top this next year.

" Easter 2011 "

This is the only picture I could get of all 3 of them.  She had way to many things to distract her.  We had one of the best Easters ever.  We did a huge scavenger hunt but I will post those pics in the next day or 2.

" Cleaning"

We are trying to get ready for Easter around here.  Cleaning the garage and mowing the yard.   Its been so cold and we are way behind in yard work.   We are finishing the basement so alot of stuff that was down there is now sitting stuffed in the poor garage.  The boys made it look pretty good.

"She wants to be blond"



Me and My SIS.   She got in a mood and decided she wanted to be blond.   So we ran into the salon on my day off mind and  you and put about 100 foils in.   There is a  picture  below of the end result.  But I love the way it turned out.

" Home Birth"

Have you ever been to a home birth ??  Well I got to witness this precious Boy be born last night.  It was amazing.  My friend has all her babies at home with a mid-wife.  It was one of the most interesting things I have ever seen.  No pain meds at all.   Its all herbs and natural supplements.   My friend is such a tough lady.   It was so neat .   I am glad I got to see it.   It makes me so much more anxious for our soon to be adoptive baby Boy to get here.  Keep praying for us.  I want him so bad :))

" Sister"

My Sister Sarah

I know sometimes I refer to her as " Nut Bag , " Nut Case ," My Nutty Sister . Well I am kidding (sometimes:) . We have so much fun together.   She is 3 1/2 years younger than me.  She looks like my Dads side of the family and I look like my Moms.  People say I look Mexican and she looks white.  Its Funny.  Yet our 2 baby daughters look so much like each other .   I love being a Big Sister.  Hopefully in August My Hadyn will have the chance to be a Big Sis.

" Cookies "

This is my 2 sweet nieces.  My little Sisters Girls.  I made sugar cookies for them to decorate .  This was so much fun.  I want to invest lots of time in these little women.     When I was growing up children were to be seen not heard.    I want my Daughter and Nieces to know how important they are .  I also want them to feel special and loved always .  So  we ( me and my Nut Case of a Sister) are going to make it a point to plan out fun days just for them.  We are looking through lots of blogs and websites for ideas.

She really likes her Cowboy Boots.  She also has learned to put them on herself so these little boots have to go with everything.  Thank goodness they are cute. 



" Boy or Girl ??? "

Its a BOY !!!!

We are so excited !!!  I got to go to the ultra sound and see this little man.  He is very healthy and looks great.  Everything is going as planned so far. I think it is the sweetest thing how he was sucking his thumb already. Please continue to pray for me.  I want this Boy so so bad :)

Also if anyone has ever adopted I would love to hear from you.  I need advice .  Was you adoption opened or closed ??  Did you go into the birthing room during the delivery ??
